Nate is a sensible and logical person, being quite initially uptight as he’s eager to take control of a situation when things leave his comfort zone, much to the chagrin of his friends. He contrasts heavily between going with the flow and taking charge of a situation when it threatens his bubble of safety, be it socially, physically, or psychologically. At first glance, he is seen as a mellow guy who is witty and cares a lot about his friends, being labeled as a book-smart person, though he heavily lacks street smarts, which his friends make up for.
Even with his initial uptight demeanor, he can be easily influenced by his friends’ shenanigans, leaning into his carefree side more with them, slowly losing his shy exterior early on in the series. Despite this, he is seen as the most responsible one in his friend group. Over time, Nate begins to trust in others more, being less controlling of his friend group and his surroundings.
When in civilian form, Nate stands at a fair height of 5'6, he has an average slim build and has fair skin with faint freckles, sky blue eyes and wavy navy blue hair that swoops just above his shoulders. He wears a pair of glasses in all of his outfits.
Civilian (Main)
His signature outfit consists of a space-themed t-shirt layered on top of a striped sweatshirt, with cut jean shorts, striped socks, and purple sneakers. His bangs are swept to the side in this outfit, and his Moonstone pendant rests on his neck.
Civilian (Alternative)
Other times, he is seen wearing a cyan polo shirt with cloud prints all over, a long-sleeved yellow undershirt, jean shorts, striped socks, and star-themed pink sneakers. He also wears a pink beanie with a star hanging off of it.
Fae Form (Blue Moonstone)
When transformed into a fae with the Blue Moonstone, he adopts an outfit akin to his childhood fantasies. He wears a tunic and tailcoat with shorts, with long flowy sleeves, all adorned with golden accessories such as bracelets, a bow tie, glasses, earrings, and a belt. He has several star motifs on his outfit, seen on his zipper and boots. Most notably, his hair gains light blue highlights, and pierced crystalline horns. His face gains cheek marks corresponding to his element, and a pair of wings sprouts from his back.

Nate was born to Min and Jacques-en, two Elysian refugees who died in Queen Halwynn’s conquest and takeover of Eyridia. Nate was suspended in animation as his body was encased completely in crystal to protect him. After the opening of the Singularity Point during the final fallout, he was sucked into the gateway between Elysia and Earth. The lack of magic in Earth’s environment caused the crystal encasing around Nate’s body to dissipate, leaving him washed up on the coast of Starbrooke.
Nate grew up in the town of Starbrooke along with his step-brother in foster care after Jake’s parents passed away. After graduating high school, Nate and his friends had gotten accepted into Xantham University shortly before discovering the Blue Moonstone. Nate plans to finish college and get a job to support his brother. Unfortunately, he ends up in Elysia and temporarily forgets the majority of the events that led up to him being stranded, forcing him to adapt to his new surroundings.
